The backcountry kit was created for those of us who love to travel – to the backcountry and beyond. Carefully formulated with natural biodegradable ingredients and boreal botanicals, these products are safe for sensitive skin and will leave no impact on the environment, whether you’re camping, glamping or touring overseas. Solid skincare means you can breeze through airport screening with your carry on, and prolong the life of your skincare by ditching the water and liquids. No leaks or messy surprises when you open your bag after a long day of travel.

Sensitive to scent or camping in bear country? We've got you! This kit is fragrance-free and does not contain any essential oils, synthetic or nature-identical fragrances.

Travelling or camping in winter? No problem! Unlike their water-based counterparts, these products don't require temperature control and remain functional in sub-zero temperatures. They won't freeze and crack their containers, and they will be ready when you need them.

Each product is designed to gently nourish and protect your skin, while also serving double duty (or more) – for example, use the facial balm to replenish dry skin on body, deodorant to tame hiking foot odour, lip balm to soothe cuts and abrasions, and hair & body bar to wash that last pair of socks. All packaging is plastic free and zero-waste (recyclable or reusable), and labels are made with an innovative recycled PVC-free material that is durable but won’t interfere with recycling methods. Products are also gender neutral so this kit is perfect for anyone!

BLACK SPRUCE HAIR & BODY BAR

pH balanced with amazing lather, this bar cleanses without drying. Great for hair and entire body, and suitable for use without a conditioner. Black spruce needle powder assists in cleansing and freshening skin. CRANBERRY CLEANSING GRAINS

Designed to deep clean and hydrate your face with coconut milk, colloidal oatmeal and willow bark extract to fight travel breakouts. Cranberry powder and kaolin clays provide gentle and effective exfoliation without stripping away natural oils. ROSEHIP FACIAL BALM

Contains fast absorbing lightweight oils and mango butter to leave a matte finish on moisturized skin. Will not clog pores, perfect for daily facial use or other areas needing attention. Wild boreal rosehips are high in vitamins and minerals as well as being potent antioxidants. Ingredients: Prunus armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil*, cetearyl alcohol, Carthamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil*, Maranta arundinacea (arrowroot) root powder*, Mangifera indica (mango) seed butter*, coco-caprylate/caprate, Rosa acicularis (wild prickly rosehips)**, tocopherol (vitamin E)

JUNIPER BERRY DEODORANT

Nourish your pits (or feet) with this natural, baking soda-free natural deodorant that really works! Jojoba and coconut oils moisturize skin while active magnesium and non-nano zinc eliminate odour causing bacteria. This is not an anti-perspirant so you will still sweat. Sweating is good, especially when you’re active. Boreal juniper berries are anti-inflammatory and skin soothing. Will not stain or leave marks on your clothing. A beautiful version of the Wekusko Wild staple, entirely organic oils and butters to protect lips, soothe cuts and abrasions, or moisturize dry spots. Wildcrafted balsam fir needles are anti-bacterial and can strengthen compromised skin.
