Inspired by the boreal plants that grace the shores of Manitoba's Grass River, this facial oil is truly a powerhouse of protection for sensitive and reactive skin types, and also very beneficial for damaged, dry, or mature skin suffering from reduced oil production. Paper birch is naturally rich in amino acids, proteins, antioxidants, and vitamins which support healthy skin function and reduce inflammation. Fireweed contains oenethein B, which is a polyphenol (plant-based micronutrient) shown to act as an anti-irritant when applied to skin*. Oenethein B reduces redness caused by UV exposure and soothes highly sensitive and reactive skin. Plantain also possesses anti-inflammatory, soothing and calming abilities. In support of these powerful botanical ingredients, organic apricot and jojoba oils are both safe for very sensitive skin while providing essential fatty acids and nutrients to deeply hydrate the skin's moisture barrier. Finally, olive squalane is a rich emollient that mimics natural oils in our skin, making it highly absorptive and easily incorporated into dry and mature skin to reduce signs of aging. Squalane also conditions and softens skin and improves elasticity.​

Grass River Facial Oil is free of preservatives, fragrance, colorants, and common allergens. Oils used are non comedogenic (will not clog pores), fast absorbing, and do not leave your skin feeling greasy or heavy. This serum spreads smoothly and leaves a silky matte finish. The beautiful bright green color is due to chlorophyll and other nutrients which are extracted from the botanicals. Suitable for all skin types needing gentle but intensive softening, restoration and protection.​

Directions for use: dispense 1-2 pumps into palm. Using fingertips, gently apply to clean face and neck with an upward motion. Use daily or as required, alone or after your favorite moisturizer.
